In a concerted effort to regulate vegetable and potato prices, the Enforcement Branch Task Force and Burtolla police conducted a joint operation in the Maniktala market. This operation aimed to ensure that the recent decrease in wholesale prices is reflected in the retail market.
Currently, Jyoti potatoes are being sold at ₹32 per kilo in the retail market, following a significant price drop in the wholesale market over the past 3-4 days.
The price of Jyoti potatoes has decreased by ₹6 to ₹8 per kilo. Similarly, the price of Chandramukhi potatoes has also fallen, with the current retail price ranging between ₹36 and ₹38 per kilo.
